How long does shipping take?
Once your order is placed, we’ll ship it out the next day. You can expect delivery within 3-5 business days. If you need expedited shipping or have any special requests, feel free to contact us!
Do you offer local pickup?
We offer local pickup in Port Dover. Select “Local Pickup” at checkout, and you’ll receive an email with all the pickup details. Orders can be collected at Bridge Yachts, located at 49 Harbour Street, Port Dover, ON N0A 1N0, during their regular store hours. Just head to the front desk and give the name used on your order.
Do you offer custom lures?
We offer custom colors and patterns in all three sizes, tailored to your fishing needs. Whether you have a specific design in mind or need help creating one, we can make it happen. Send us your ideas, photos, or designs, and we’ll bring your vision to life! Contact us to get started.
Do you ship to the USA?
Due to new U.S. import tariffs, all USA orders now include a $25 CAD flat shipping fee plus a 10% tariff fee. The tariff portion is calculated in $25 order value increments. For example, orders from $0–$25 have a $27.50 shipping total, while orders from $25–$50 have a $30.00 shipping total. All tariffs, duties, and shipping fees are fully prepaid at checkout so your order can be delivered directly to your door with no additional charges on delivery whenever possible. At this time, online checkout shipping is not available for Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. Customers in these locations can still place orders by filling out our Contact Us form for a custom shipping quote. Most USA orders arrive within 3–5 business days.
Do you offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount?
Yes! We offer free shipping on all orders over $125 to Canada Only.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and e-Transfer. To pay by e-Transfer, select Manual Payment at checkout and send your payment to info@kingcrusherlures.ca.
What sizes do King Crusher spoons come in?
Three sizes: small, medium, and magnum (MAG). The small and medium spoons are built for walleye and trout, and the MAG is our salmon spoon. Every size is hand-painted and tested on the Great Lakes.
Which spoon should I use for walleye vs. salmon?
For walleye, run our small or medium spoons. They match the baitfish walleye feed on and work at walleye trolling speeds. For salmon and big kings, step up to the MAG, which has the size and flash to pull fish from a distance.
What's the difference between hex, copper, and nickel finishes?
Hex backing has a textured pattern that scatters light in every direction. Nickel gives the brightest flash and shines in clear water and sun. Copper gives a warmer flash that many anglers prefer in stained water and low light.
Why do some MAG spoons have holes?
The holes create extra water agitation as the spoon moves, giving fish another signal to home in on besides flash and colour. We tested the MAG with holes on the water before releasing it, with very positive results.
Do King Crusher spoons glow?
Many of our colours use glow tape or glow paint, including Blue Frog (Glow Tape), Bimini Glow, and Arctic Glow. Glow spoons stand out at depth, early in the morning, on cloudy days, and in dirty water.
Are King Crusher spoons hand-painted?
Yes. Every spoon is hand-painted, finished with an industry-leading clear coat so the colour holds up season after season, and rigged with razor-sharp hooks.
Where are King Crusher Lures designed?
King Crusher Lures is based in Port Dover, Ontario, on the north shore of Lake Erie. Every colour is designed and tested on the Great Lakes by our team and pro staff before it hits the store.
Can I use your walleye spoons for trout?
Yes. Our small and medium spoons catch trout as well as walleye, and the MAG catches big trout along with salmon.
What speed should I troll spoons at?
Most anglers troll spoons for walleye around 1.8–3.0 mph and for salmon around 2.2–4.0 mph. Watch the spoon beside the boat: you want a steady, erratic wobble without it spinning. Speed up or slow down until the action looks right.
What colour spoon works best on sunny vs. overcast days?
On sunny days and in clear water, run bright colours. On overcast days, switch to darker colours. If the bite is slow, keep changing colours until one starts producing.
How do I rig a trolling spoon?
Always use a quality ball-bearing snap swivel to prevent line twist, and never tie a spoon directly to your line. Run it behind a planer board, dipsy diver, downrigger, or lead core to get it to the depth fish are holding at.
Do you sell to tackle shops?
Yes. Stores can apply on our Become a Dealer page. Approved dealers order online with dealer pricing applied automatically, can see the full lineup, and get volume discounts on larger orders.
Where can I buy King Crusher spoons in a store?
You'll find King Crusher spoons at Old Cut Marina in Long Point, Ontario, and at our other dealers. You can also order online or pick up locally at Bridge Yachts in Port Dover.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. King Crusher gift cards are available on our Gift Cards page and can be used on any spoon or merch in the store.
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final, and we don't accept returns. If there's a problem with your order, contact us and we'll help sort it out.
